Founded in 2016 by Jamal Makke, Dèmodè Antiques began as an auction house fueled by a deep passion for antiques and collectibles. With his background in architecture, Jamal integrated his love for vintage design into his work, curating a remarkable collection of rare and unique pieces. What started as a personal hobby soon evolved into a thriving platform, connecting collectors through the excitement of live auctions.

In September 2016, Dèmodè launched weekly in-house auctions, quickly becoming a hub for antique enthusiasts. These live events ran successfully until 2020, when they were temporarily paused due to the global pandemic.

Now, we are back! Our in-house live auctions are held every Wednesday in Beirut, Lebanon, at our showroom on Airport Road—bringing back the thrill of live bidding in an exciting atmosphere. But we’re not stopping there—we are preparing to launch our online live auctions in Spring 2025, allowing collectors worldwide to participate in real-time bidding.

At Dèmodè Antiques, we specialise in rare and timeless treasures sourced from around the world, including the UK, France, Germany, and Lebanon. Our collection features glassware, rugs, paintings, furniture, metals, stoneware, porcelain, and more—each piece carrying a unique story from the past, waiting to be rediscovered.
