Gabbeh rugs are a tribal Persian rug, usually handcrafted by women, with a tightly woven and thick pile. They are made of natural wool yarn and each colour is created with natural plant dye. Gabbeh rugs are characterized by open fields of solid colour or minimalist geometric designs. Many of them also feature small animal or tree motifs in the corners. Gabbeh rugs are also known for their vibrant colours, making them an excellent choice as a statement piece for your floor.
