Sienna Kilim

Kilims are flat tapestry-woven rugs traditionally produced in countries of the former Persian Empire, including Iran, Azerbaijan, the Balkans and the Turkic countries of Central Asia. Contrary to traditional pile rugs, kilim designs are made by interweaving various coloured wefts and warps, creating what is known as a flatweave. Typically composed of wool, kilims are known for bold geometric patterns that have sustained strong popularity throughout history due to their classic designs that  complement both traditional and modern home decor.
