Handmade Sarough Rug

Known for their exceptional quality and ability to withstand decades of wear, Saroukh rugs are made with a high quality, tough wool using a Persian knot. The Saroukh finds its origins in the Arak weaving district of Iran, dating to over 175 years ago. Known for being a consistently high quality rug with a thick pile, Saroukhs have been sought after throughout history by those with discerning taste. Their characteristic colour palette consists of blue weft threads, and a salmon pink ground with ivory and blue accents.
